This website is a compilation of all the things that I have learned on my journey to find health. I started researching and searching about 7 years ago, because the doctors said I was incurable, and that the health problems I was experiencing were just the way I was going to be. I had hope for better, so I started reading everything and talking to everyone about alternative treatments for my health conditions. I have been blessed to find ways to correct and heal my health conditions. I now enjoy vibrant health and wellbeing! I wish to share with you what I have learned, with the hope of speeding up or contributing in some way to your recovery.
As long as I can remember, I had always had severe heartburn and Irritable Bowel Syndrome. As I got older it seemed to be getting worse. Around the time I was in college I was also struggling with poor immune function, hypoglycemia, chronic yeast infections, & low energy. I progressed to have more health problems added to the ones I have already mentioned: chronic sinus infections, chronic fatigue, epstein barr virus, low thyroid function, and systemic candiasis.
After suffering through many doctors' failed attempts to treat my problems with antibiotics, steroids, and other drugs, I decided to go another route. It was the obvious choice, since the doctors didn't have much hope for me. I had always been very conservative before this time and was not very open-minded. Fortunately, my husband and his family were. Initially, I decided to try it because I was desperate! But now I believe strongly in it. After trying various different natural doctors, I found Dr. Michael Biamonte C.N.N. and Naturopath. He put me on his program for Candida. After 3 months I was doing much better, and after 7 months I was completely well and able to go off his program.
However, with the birth of my first child I received heavy doses of I.V. antibiotics because I had a slight fever, which resulted in my doctor treating me for a possible uterine infection. I was also put on very high amounts of iron (which is very irritating to the intestines) after postpartum hemorrhage, and was given 3 units of blood. With the lack of sleep, stress of the new baby, antibiotics, iron, and 3 different people's blood, my health started to decline again. After about 3 months I had developed extreme food allergies, and I was breaking out in rashes along with having breathing reactions to foods, none of which I had ever experienced before. After eating certain foods I would feel tightness in my chest. Eating certain foods would also cause heart arrhythmias, where I would have either abnormal pauses between beats or extra beats. I was also experiencing episodes in the night where my heart would beat too slow and almost stop, with long enough pauses to make me feel numb and light-headed. After a few minutes it would switch to beating abnormally fast (around 200 beats per minute) and would be accompanied by sudden diarrhea. My husband called 911 four different times, thinking I was going to have a heart attack. I went to a cardiologist and was told that I was too young to be having heart problems. He said that I needed to take anxiety medication. I knew that wasn't the problem, because by that time my daughter was sleeping through the night and I didn't have any other stress.
I thought about Dr. Biamonte, and decided to call him, not really thinking he would be able to help me with my heart problems. He immediately had me tested for Leaky Gut and Candida and put me on a program right away for both. I had Systemic Candiasis (from the antibiotics), & severe Leaky Gut (Intestinal Permeability), which was caused by Candiasis and the intestinal irritation from the Iron pills. A common symptom of Leaky Gut is the development of new food allergies, which were causing my heart arrhythmias and episodes in the night. After doing the program for 2 weeks all the heart problems and rashes were gone. During the course of finishing his protocol for Leaky Gut & Candida, I got pregnant with my son Isaac. Dr. Biamonte had me stop taking the supplements & Herbs except for Probiotics while I was pregnant. I kept the Leaky Gut & Candida under control as well as I could during this time by diet, but I was not able to take the supplements to get better completely. During my pregnancy I was also borderline diabetic. I controlled my blood sugar by blood sugar tests after each meal, exercise, & diet. Diabetes runs in my family, but I was hoping it would go away after Isaac was born.
After Isaac was born I continued to have problems with my blood sugar, so I continued to regulate it as I had in my pregnancy. I also had chronic breast infections that required treatment by antibiotics (I know, not again!), and so Isaac also received the antibiotics through the breast milk. After about 6 weeks, he started to develop eczema and food allergies. After a short time he was allergic to almost everything, and he had eczema covering most of his body. He would be up most of the night itching and crying. My husband and I would take shifts with him so that we could get some rest. I was elimniating all the foods from my diet that he was reacting to so that those foods would not be in my breast milk. Before I knew it we were down to a handful of foods. We didn't know at the time that food allergies and eczema were related to Candida overgrowth and Leaky Gut, and are common symptoms of these health conditions. While searching for a way to help Isaac, we mentioned his problems to Dr. Biamonte, who told us to put Isaac on probiotics and start the program he has Candida & Leaky Gut for infants. Isaac started to improve immediately! I was so relieved.
Isaac was making good progress but I felt like we were both lacking nutrients in our diet. I was still not able to do the Leaky Gut & Candida program while I was nursing Isaac, and was only taking probiotics. I was getting sick all the time and feeling like I had no energy. That's when I started to search for supplements.
The first one that I heard from a friend was called Marine Phytoplankton. I had never heard of it before. After researching it and learning about the first man that took it and cured his incurable cancer, I decided it was worth a try. I had a hard time finding it in pure form, but after a couple months I was successful!
I cannot explain how amazing the results were! I went from where I was, to being full of energy and well all the time! My blood sugar also improved after a couple weeks, and I have not had to test or regulate it since. Isaac's eczema cleared up dramatically after 3 weeks. The nutrients were so vital for both of us, to strengthen our immune systems so that we could get rid of the Candida and Leaky Gut. Isaac's skin and allergies were improving on fast forward speed, which was such a blessing, since he had suffered so much with his skin discomfort for over a year. Isaac has been on the Marine Phytoplankton for over a year. His skin is still clear and he is able to add new foods into his diet each week!
A while after, I learned about Chia Seed and both Isaac and I have done great on it. I have so much energy and stamina. Isaac's skin glows now that he's on it. I also discovered Goji Berries and have seen a dramatic improvement in both my kids' immune systems. Goji Berries are one of the highest sources of antioxidants, and they are known as the "Happy Berry". I definitely wake up
feeling happy and ready to go each morning. I have also found Hemp Hearts to be an easily digestible source of non-animal protein with a perfect balance of omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids. These supplements have brought balance into my body, and have helped me to heal quickly from Leaky Gut and Candida, as I have continued to do Dr. Biamonte's program.
Prevention is the best way to go, because it's harder and much more expensive to get your health back once you have lost it. But if you have lost your health, I know there are ways to heal. I firmly believe that! I know that you too can enjoy vibrant health and wholeness. God bless you on your way!
The first thing I used for my son and I when dealing with the Candida was Marine Phytoplankton Powder. I took 1-2 teaspoons/day and gave my son ½ teaspoon a day. It is very powerful anti-fungal and is also the most nutritious food on the planet. This strengthened my body so I could resolve the candida with herbs/diet quickly. It also provided me with stamina and energy while detoxing. It prevented the bad die-off symptoms that occur when killing Candida which made the process much more comfortable. I started out with a very small amount of phytoplankton and built up slowly.
Biotin – I took 5000 mcg a day. In has been shown that candida cannot overgrow in an environment that has sufficient Bioton.
Candex - an enzyme that digests the cell wall of candida so it is eliminated quickly. I took 2 capsules 3 times/day continuously while doing the rotation below:
It’s very important to rotate the herbs when killing candida so it does not mutate and build up a resistance to the herbs. I did a four day rotation on Dr. Biamonte’s program. I took one herbal formulation for 4 days and then switched to a 2nd herbal formulation which I took that for 4 days, and then I switched to a 3rd which I took it for 4 days, and then I switched to the 4th herb supplement and took it for 4 days.
I would always start out with a very low dose when taking a new herbal formulation for the first time, and I would build up slowly to taking a much higher dose 3 times a day. This prevents a severe “die-off reaction” (Herxhimer Reaction) from occurring. Once I had built up to a higher dose, then I would start at that dose when I took it a second time.
I rotated these 4 herbs on a four-day rotation for a 8-12 weeks:
Kolorex – I started with one capsule and built up to 3 capsules 3 times a day
Biocidin & Biotonic – I started with 1 drop of Biocidin and build up to 5-10 drops 3 times a day. Biotonic – I started with 1 capsule and build up to 2 capsules 3 times a day
Olivirex & Cat's Claw – I started with one capsule of Olivirex and built up to 3 caps 3 times a day. I started with one drop of Cat's Claw and built up to 3 drops 3 times a day
Lomatium - I started with one drop and built up to one dropper full 3 times a day. Discontinue if rash developes!
I would watch for die off symptoms while taking the herbal formulations to make sure I wasn’t raising my doses to quickly. These symptoms are: flu-like symptoms, headache, extreme fatigue, achy joints, & nausea. If I had any of these symptoms I would cut back on the dose I was taking until the symptoms subsided. I also had to drink a lot of water during the rotation of the herbs to prevent die-off symptoms.
I also learned the importance of rotating the probiotics that you take. This way they will be more effective in eliminating the candida. Here are the probiotics I used on a 7 day rotation. I took one for 7 days and then switched to the 2nd for 7 days, and then switched back to the 1st one for 7 days. I started out with a small amount of the probiotic and slowly built up to 7-10 capsules that I spread through out the day. I was careful not take the probiotic at the same time as the herbs because it would reduce the potency of the probiotic.
I ate at least three meals a day or six small ones. I balanced my protein intake with green leafy vegetables in at least one generous green salad daily, juicing multiple times a day, eating lots of steamed vegetables. I would eat steamed brown rice, brown rice pasta, brown rice crackers, and rice bread in small very amounts usually one meal a day only. Many people avoid all grains, but I still consumed one meal with some rice as I was nursing. Some of the foods I ate were: granny smith apples dipped in almond butter, gaucamole with rice crackers, hemp seed and raspberries, chia gel and strawberries, smoothies made with hemp seeds, chia gel, stevia, coconut oil, and frozen berries.
I had small amounts of brown rice bread, hot brown rice cereal, and brown rice pasta 1-2 meals a day.
fresh fish (i.e., cod, flounder, haddock, halibut, herring, mackerel, perch, pike, salmon, sardines, trout, tuna, etc.). May be broiled or fried, baked or broiled. In frying, use coconut oil. No lard or hydrogenated fats (i.e., Spry, Crisco, etc.) Do not use bread crumbs or flour. Except for almond flour and brown rice flour.
Lean beef, lamb, veal, and poultry. Trim away visible, excess fat from meat. Bake, broil., boil, or sauté in coconut oil.
Artichokes, asparagus, beans (string), beet greens, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, celery, chard leaves, chicory, chives, collards, cucumbers, dandelion, eggplant, endive, escarole, fennel, garden cress, herbs, kale, lettuce, mustard greens, okra, green peppers, pumpkin, radishes, rhubarb, spinach, squash (summer), tomatoes, turnip greens, watercress, zucchini. (Fresh preferred, may be frozen). Only these veggies.
Granny Smith apples, Blueberries, Strawberries, and Raspberries, avocado, cantaloupe, casaba, cranshaw and honey dew, Lemons and limes. I ate fruit only one time a day to keep my sugar consumption very low. No canned, sweetened, or dried fruits of any kind.
Salad dressings made from lime, lemon juice, olive oil, and coconut oil or sesame oil. olives (ripe or green) pickle (dill or sour only). Mustard (fresh or dry). Hard-boiled or deviled eggs. Fresh nuts-walnuts, pecans and almonds. Stevia may be used. Seeds-sunflower, pumpkin, sesame, hemp seed, and chia seed. No mayonnaise, cider vinegar and no cashews.
Herb teas-unsweetened. No milk, tomato juice, V-8 juice. No colas of any kind. No canned, condensed, evaporated or sweetened milk. No alcohol in any form. No sugar free soft drinks.
No cereals, cereal products, bread stuffs, cakes, cookies, pies, candy, ice cream, etc. No beans or legumes as they will irritate the intestinal lining.

I also took 2 supplements that coated my intestinal lining to heal the leaky gut. Here are some that I used: Slippery Elm, Gastic Complex, and Serovera . I took 3 capsules of each before meals.
I took the probiotics first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and right before bed on an empty stomach. I would take the herbs in between meals, unless the specified to take them with foods. I took the mucin supplements right before I would eat.
For my son's eczema, asthma, and food allergies I used basically the same information as above, but I gave him smaller amounts. I kept him on the diet (see above), but used more rice to make sure he was getting enough carbs. I fed him brown rice hot cereal, brown rice pasta, brown rice bread, brown rice tortilla, steamed brown rice, and brown rice crackers. He ate smoothies I made out of chia seeds and hemp seeds that were sweetened with frozen berries and stevia. I fed him lots of steamed vegetables, fresh vegetable juice, and avocados. He loved hemp seed on fresh berries with stevia, and ate that multiple times a day. He also ate small amounts of organic grass fed beef, and chicken. Once his allergies started to improve I added in wild caught salmon and organic eggs.
I gave him 1/2 teaspoon of Marine Phytoplankton Powder in the morning and in the evening. I also rotated 2 probiotics, Latero-flora & BifoViden. I gave him slippery elm that I steamed in water daily. I also gave him 10 capsules of Serovera each day and 1/2 teaspoon of Sea Buckthorn Oil twice a day, 1/2 teaspoon of Camu each day. I rotated these herbal formulations on a 4 day rotation: Biocidin, Lomatium, Cat's Claw, Olive Leaf Extract, and Sovereign Silver. I started out with a very small amount of the herbal formulation diluted in water and built up to giving him 6-8 drops of the herbal formulations over a couple months of time. This is how I would give it to him: I would mix 1/2 teaspoon of Marine Phytoplankton Powder, 1/4 teaspoon of Camu, 5 capsules of Serovera, Slippery Elm (that I steamed and then cooled), 1/2 teaspoon of Sea Buckthorn Oil, and Probiotic in a cup with a small amount of water. I would then use a medicine syringe to give it to him, I would try and keep it to one or two syringes so it would be fast. I would follow it with a piece of his favorite fruit. I would give this to him morning and night. During the day I would give him the diluted drops of the herbal formulations spread out though out the day.
After a couple weeks of doing this I started to add in additional superfoods to his diet. I gave him Raw Coconut Oil in his smoothie (it kills candida). In his morning and evening mixture I added Goji Powder, Spirulina, Barley Powder, Brown Seaweed Extract, Astaxanthin, Wheat Grass, & Krill Oil. He had a fast recovery and is a strong and healthy boy!
